Biketek have introduced a superior range of heated innerwear and gloves to offer unrivalled comfort and warmth for motorcycle and quad riding.
The garments are powered from the motorbike's 12v electric system, all garments are inter-connectable to be powered from just one wiring harness. The range comprises of Inner Jacket, Inner Trouser and Leather Gloves, any combination of the three garments can be used.
Utilising durable carbon fibre heating elements (superior to copper elements found in other heated garments, Biketek generate safe, electronically infared heat. The light weight and flexibility of carbon fibre elements make these garments very flexible and totally safe to operate in wet conditions.
To ensure the maximum benefits of heated garments they should be snug-fitting and in close contact with the body. It is recommended that only one thin layer of clothing is worn below the inner garment - thick and baggy clothing will decrease heating performance.
Colour coded connectors enable quick and easy garment connection.
Garments have 3 heat settings via the robust solid-state electronically controled thermostat, featuring large buttons for gloved use.
Jacket and trousers are machine washable (refer to instruction manual for full information).

"NOT just for winter. The best heated kit is thin enough to wear under leathers, controllable enough that it's as useful at taking the chill off a cool summer morning or evening ride as it is tackling the M11 in February. Most of it plugs straight into your bike's battery but there are some that have a rechargeable battery option.
The kit here is made by Biketek who supply a jacket, inner trousers and gloves that work individually or fit together as a set. Simple to use, as warm as you need and almost undetectable in everyday use (15 years as a journalist and I've always wanted to use that phrase). Prices are £130 for the jacket, £130 for the gloves (armoured and waterproof too) and £150 for the chaps.
It sounds expensive but in reality most of us just need the jacket and the gloves, which is £260 - or about the same price as a track day once you've paid for fuel and food for year round riding comfort. Brilliant.
I've been using this kit for a month and on the maximum setting (out of three) it's been too warm - lets save that for February. Setting two is much more like it. But the best thing is that it heats up almost instantly and is so easy to use. I can't recommend it enough"
